Midland North Foursomes 2015

Burton on Trent Golf Club hosted the England Golf, Midlands North Regional Foursomes Competition on 27th April 2015. Dry but cold weather with fast, tricky greens resulted in challenging conditions for the 26 pairs who entered from the 6 counties within the region.

The Challenge Cup winners for the best 36 hole aggregate nett score and foursomes champions were Andrea Stockdale and Sue Penfold of Sherwood Forest Golf Club. With a 36 hole nett score of 162 (82.5 ‐79.5), a back 18 countback was needed to settle the top 3 positions.

The Scratch Salver winners for the best 36 hole gross score were Sarah Haslam and Suzanne Pretty of Longcliffe Golf Club. With a 36 hole gross score of 171 (86 ‐85), a back 18 countback was needed to settle the top 2 positions.
