Nottinghamshire Golf Rules Course

The Nottinghamshire Union of Golf Clubs and the Nottinghamshire County Ladies Golf Association are looking to add to their panel of men and lady tournament referees who officiate at our County Championships. We are therefore planning to hold a rules course over two half-days and are inviting applications from individuals who would be interested in attending this course and also being a member of the Nottinghamshire Golf Tournament Official panel.

Numbers on the course will be restricted to twelve and therefore places will be allocated to those responding early. The sessions will be on Saturday 11 April at Wollaton Park Golf Club and Saturday 25 July at Wollaton Park Golf Club.

The Nottinghamshire Golf Intermediate 2-day Rules Course is conducted by qualified Referees and there will be an examination on the second day. A small fee of £15 will be charged to cover costs and details on payment will be provided at a later date.

To register your interest for a place on the 2015 course, please email the NUGC Secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name, contact details including your email and telephone number and your current home golf club.

Each delegate needs to own and to study "R&A Rules of Golf 2012-2015" and the "Decisions on the Rules of Golf 2014-2015". Warm clothes, golf shoes and waterproofs will be required for the outdoor sessions.
