Friendly Match v Yorkshire 2013
The Mid Handicap Girls played a Friendly Match v Yorkshire girls at Meltham GC on Sunday June 9th. Eight girls with handicaps from 12 - 25 enjoyed playing the hilly Meltham course which tested their course management skills. The Notts girls won 4 ½ : 3 ½ and the sun shone, a real bonus. Leanne Martin was our Captain for the day and she spoke very well on behalf of Notts at tea afterwards.
This was our first fixture against Yorkshire for a few years and we look forward to a return match in 2014 in Notts.
